The club boat is called the Admiral Douglas, and is moored at Dover Mariner. It is 43 feet long and was purchase by Dover Sub-Aqua Club in 1999 from The Dover Harbour Board.
The Boat was extensively refitted during 2002 - 2003, and now provides an excellent diving platform for club members and visiting guests, easily accommodating 12 kitted up divers on the engine box. Subject to weather conditions and tides The Admiral Douglas will be visiting most of the popular local wreck and dive sites through out the dive season, aided by its computer assisted GPS navigation and fishfinder.
The Admiral Douglas is actually an historic boat having been built in 1922 as a Watson class lifeboat for the RNLI.
